Biya has fired Lord Justice Ayah Paul
Yap Abdou, a magistrate and current president of the Special Criminal Court has been appointed Chief Advocate of the Supreme Court replacing Lord Justice Paul Ayah Abine. In the decree signed late today, President Biya stated that Ayah Paul can now assert his rights to retirement.
Biya also appointed the former Secretary General of the Minister of Communication Emmanuel Ndjere a 4th grade magistrate to succeed Yap Abdou at the Special Criminal Court.
Emmanuel Ndjere is a lecturer at the National School of Administration and Magistracy (Enam) and authored a book “The Public Prosecutor or Public Prosecutor’s Office” Volume I and II published recently in Yaounde.
