The outgoing European Union Ambassador to La Republique du Cameroun, Francoise Collet has on Thursday the 27th of July 2017 hailed the excellent ties between Cameroun and the EU. The diplomat was talking after a farewell audience with the Secretary General at the Presidency of the Republic, Ferdinand Ngoh Ngoh.
Both personalities discussed issues related to the economic situation of the country and plausible measures that will help in the growth of French Cameroun. The reemergence of the Nigerian Islamic sect, Boko Haram also came under review during the cordial meeting.
Francoise Collet leaves French Cameroun after a sojourn of four years during which she supported the road safety campaigns by the National Gendarmerie and also helped in the provision of EU scholarships to Cameroonian students.
