The government has confirmed that Joseph Otto Wilson, governor of the central region has died in Paris where he was receiving treatment for cancer.
The civil administrator was evacuated to France following a seizure. Cameroon Intelligence Report gathered that his health deteriorated after the death of his eldest daughter who was a second year student in ENAM.
Born in 1964, Joseph Otto Wilson was appointed governor of the Centre region by a June 2014 presidential decree.
