President Paul Biya and Chantal Biya have left the country today Monday, December 11, 2017 in a chartered Boeing 777 from Yaoundé Nsimalen International Airport to Paris, France. Biya will participate at a summit on climate change in the French capital.
The Cameroonian presidential couple responded to an invitation from French president Emmanuel Macron who is organizing tomorrow Tuesday, December 12, 2017 in Paris, a climate forum called “One Planet Summit”.
The Paris summit will also provide an opportunity for the leaders and other invited personalities of the world, to evaluate the level of progress of the commitments of the countries in the fight against climate change after the “COP21” that held two years ago in France.
This is the second time in two years that the Cameroonian dictator is participating in these meetings to fight against climate change.
