Achidi Achu’s Camtel: Who is in, who is out and who is still thinking of coming in
President Paul Biya signed a decree promoting Judith Yah Sunday-Achidi as general manager of telecom operator Camtel (Cameroon Telecommunications), in which the state is the main shareholder. The executive, who has been working at the company for the last 25 years, replaces David Nkoto Emane, in the role since 2005.
Agence Ecofin reports that the appointment coincides with a number of other changes within Camtel’s management board. Daniel Desire Olle has been promoted to deputy general manager, replacing Richard Maga, while Mohamadou Saoudi has been named as board chairman.
